Public Notice:

- July 11 - The Natural Resources Board Special Advisory Committee for Hunter and Landowner Support of Effective Alternative Deer Population Control Methods will meet at the Ramada, 1501 North Point Dr. in Stevens Point at 9:00 a.m.  The committee will be discussing various proposed alternative deer season structures, tagging alternatives, and potential packages of those alternatives.  The committee will also discuss the public input process before a final report with recommendations is made to the Natural Resources Board in August of 2009.  To learn more about the advisory committee, visit their website at www.wiherdcontrol.org. The Committee's second in-person meeting is scheduled for July 11, 2009 at the Stevens Point Ramada. The public is welcome to attend and listen to gain information on the Committee's progress. However, unless otherwise indicated on the agenda developed at a later date, direct public participation and comment is not anticipated during this working sessions.
