June 20 - The Natural Resources Board special advisory committee for effective alternative deer population control methods will meet at the Ramada, 1501 North Point Dr. in Stevens Point at 9:00 a.m.  The committee comprised of various stakeholder representatives will begin working to find alternative hunting strategies to reduce deer population in management units that are above goal.  The committee will gather input from the public and various stakeholder groups before making recommendations to the Natural Resources Board.  For more information, please contact Jason Fleener at (608) 261-7589.
